COLLAPSIBLE BOOKBINDING SEWING FRAME

A sewing frame is a tool used to sew tapes or cords onto signatures in preparation for binding a book. This wooden bookbinding sewing frame is collapsible and comes in a drawstring bag for your home studio where space is at a premium or for traveling to bookbinding workshops! Each frame is laser cut from 1/4” birch plywood and hand-finished with a water-based clear coat. Twelve clips in a cotton bag are included for assembling up to 6 tapes (tape material not included). Additional clips can be purchased from any office supply. Works well with bookbinding tape keys or eye hooks can also be used to tie the tapes. 

 

Available in two sizes.

10 inch:

Measuring 10 1/2” tall x 12“ wide x 10"deep when assembled, this frame has a stitch opening of 10 inches for tapes.

14 inch:

Measuring 10 1/2” tall x 15“ wide x 10" deep when assembled, this frame has a stitch opening of 14" for tapes.
